My work mainly investigates the neurophysiological foundations of moral behavior. Particularly, I am interested in unveiling the socio-cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie deception, corruption, and collusion with mafia-type criminals. In previous studies, I also inspected the determinants of joint action. In my work, I rely on a variety of investigation techniques, including tACS, TMS, virtual reality, EEG, ECG, EMG, EDA, and kinematics recording.
