This research line aims to understand the behavioral and brain reactions of people immersed in virtual environments that re-create contexts with different degrees of complexity ranging from grasping of a single object to social interactions.
This research is carried out in healthy subjects and in people with reduced mobility.
Currently we are focusing on the EEG correlates of action observation (Pavone et al, In preparation) and how virtual reality can be used to explore body representation (Tieri et al, in preparation; Tidoni et al, in preparation).
