This line of research investigates, at the behavioral and neural level, how visuo-spatial attention is influenced by social signals such as averted gaze and pointing hands (Crostella et al, 2009; Cazzato et al, 2011; Porciello et al, Under revision; Crostella et al, In preparation).
In particular, we aim to understand how social attention is modulated by personality and social factors such as physical, emotional and social similarity, ideology and political affiliation with focus on the plastic nature of these phenomena (Liuzza et al. 2011;2013; Cazzato et al, In preparation; Porciello et al, In preparation).
