My research interests concern multisensory neural representations of the body and complex action (e.g., dance), with interest in neuroaesthetics, attention-related processes, and social cognition. I use EEG as the primary technique, combining it with kinematic analysis of movement and fMRI.
My education as a contemporary dancer has informed my research on the human brain, merging dance and neuroscience.
I was recently awarded a Bial Foundation Research Grant (as Principal Investigator) and a Marie Curie Global Fellowship to continue my work collaborating with the Macquarie University of Sydney (SoBA Lab).
