My research activity aims at investigating the neural and psychophysiological correlates of social behavior such as face categorization (Ponsi et al., 2015, 2017a), decision-making in interactive games (Ponsi et al., 2017b, 2019, 2021; Feruglio et al., 2022, 2023), and gaze-following behavior (Ponsi et al., 2024). These topics are investigated by means of the employment of the following research techniques:
- EEG (Electroencephalography), ERPs (Event Related Potentials), TFA (Time-frequency analysis)
- sEMG (surface electromyography)
- Eye-tracking
- Functional Thermal Imaging (fITI)
- Autonomic measures (electrodermal activity, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate)
