My previous experience focused on clinical activities, specifically on the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders and on the intervention with cognitive behavioural therapy on children on the autistic spectrum. During my studies at the University of Padova, I took part in a research project investigating interpersonal synchrony and autism. Currently, I am involved in a project aiming to study the neurophysiological correlates of interpersonal motor interactions during a joint-action task in patients with Parkinson’s Disease, using a combination of Electroencephalography, Electrogastrography and Electrocardiography. More broadly, my interests focus on the neural and behavioural correlates of cognitive and perceptual processes, starting from interpersonal synchrony, from a developmental perspective.
