Anna Perazzini

As a PhD student in cognitive, affective and social neuroscience, my research interests and activities are spacing from motor control, action perception and prediction to a wider cognitive control dimension. I’m exploring the interconnected role of motor and prefrontal cortical areas in the field of error detection and response inhibition, mostly through Transcranical Magnetic Stimulation and behavioural approaches.

My present and future studies involving non-invasive brain stimulation will contribute to test, in an IIT team work, an innovative ultrasound method for non-invasive, deep and more focal brain stimulation, which will allow to deepen the function and role of less studied brain areas in a variety of cognitive functions.
