My main research interest is in how the way we represent bodily signals in the brain and in the conscious mind influences higher levels of self-processing, including volition, agency, and morality. During my PhD, I will be involved in a project investigating whether the processing of interoceptive and exteroceptive signals differentially influences social decision making, using a combination of behavioural, physiological, and brain stimulation methods.
