I graduated from Bologna University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Neuroscience. My first laboratory experience was during my master’s thesis, in which I studied the role of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in the consolidation and extinction of emotional learning; in my post-graduated internship, I studied the plasticity of the motor system in young and older populations. I am currently achieving my PhD in Psychology and Social Neuroscience, studying the motor inhibitory processes in the Action Observation Network. With this aim, I will use a non-invasive stimulation technique (i.e., ccPAS) combined with electrophysiological registration (e.g., EMG and EEG).
